I have been taking photos and writing articles about Thailand for over a decade. Mainly, I write about combat sport and I travel all over the country and beyond to cover boxing, Muay Thai and MMA.
I have been interviewed live about Thailand stories by Fox News, the BBC, ITV and numerous others. My articles and photos have appeared in newspapers like The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Bangkok Post and websites like Vice, Boxing Scene and MMA Weekly.
As you can see from the photos I have a keen interest in combat sport. I have been regularly attending boxing, Muay Thai and MMA events in Thailand since 2007 and have traveled all over the region and beyond to cover fighters and fights.
I’ve sat down for interviews with Manny Pacquiao in General Santos City, Somluck Khamsing in Bangkok, Marco Antonio Barrera in Cebu and Shinya Aoki in Singapore. I’ve also attended live events in Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Taipei, Yangon, Vientiane, Kuala Lumpur, Macau and numerous other towns, cities and villages!
I’ve competed in Muay Thai and boxing on a handful of occasions. My main claims to fame are having fought at Marina Bay Sands on the undercard of a world title fight and having fought in Klong Prem Prison, the last bout was featured in a Vice documentary.
I’m also a big football fan and in my spare time I like playing football, watching football, talking about football, taking photos of football, coaching football and doing just about anything else football related! I currently play in goal for a mildly successful expat team.
I am also a full time Thai student who has been struggling to learn the Thai language for several years and intends to struggle on indefinitely!
